Futurama - "The Silence of the Clamps" WGA Award nominationHello again. Surprise again. I'm here to let you know that our good friend Eric Rogers (aka @Kitchelfilms) has been nominated for a Writers Guild of America Award (West) for the Futurama episode "The Silence of the Clamps" that he wrote for the last season that aired this past 2011 on Comedy Central.

It is always great to see the series being nominated, and I'm sure Eric is trilled to know his hard work led to this awesome news of being nominated.

Here you go the other nominees in the Animation Category for this 2012:

  • "Bart Stops to Smell the Roosevelts" (The Simpsons), Written by Tim Long; Fox
  • "The Blue and the Gray" (The Simpsons), Written by Rob LaZebnik; Fox
  • "Donnie Fatso" (The Simpsons), Written by Chris Cluess; Fox
  • "Homer the Father" (The Simpsons), Written by Joel H. Cohen; Fox
  • "Moonstruck" (Ben 10: Ultimate Alien), Written by Len Uhley; Cartoon Network
  • "The Silence of the Clamps" (Futurama), Written by Eric Rogers; Comedy Central

As usual, a lot of Simpsons nominations this year, but Futurama already won this category in 2011 with the amazing episode of Ken Keeler, "The Prisoner of Benda"

Good luck to Eric Rogers, and if he doesn't win, the WGA will get some clamping with... The Clamps!
